True image 2013 & Seagate Disk Wizard
Installing True image 2013 after I installed Seagate's Disk Wizard (version13.0.14387) caused my PC to commit suicide on the next reboot. On reboot the PC failed to start and on the second reboot Scandisk ran automatically for about 10 minutes deleting hundreds of files and on the next reboot I got a "no MBR found" and my new C: drive was toast.
I upgraded my copy of True Image 2011 to the 2013 version because Acronis's True Image worked so well for me on previous hard drive replacements for disk cloning. I was a walking commercial for Acronis's software, that's how much I thought of how this software performed in the past.
The destruction of my C: drive was so thorough I could hardly believe my eyes as I watched Scandisk destroying file after file. It seemed like a virus intended to make a computer self destruct.
Disk Wizard will not load if Acronis True image 2013 is installed. A message pops up telling you to uninstall True Image. Unfortunately, True image 2013 was unable to perform the function of Cloning to a 4TB hard drive and making the entire 4TB available for use my Dell XPS9000. So after purchasing and installing the $29 upgrade, I was forced to uninstall True Image 2013 to load Disk Wizard. I cloned my RAID 1 type C: drive to a new pair of 2 TB hard drives successfully using another software company's application, then cloned a single 1.5 TB additional storage drive to a new 4 TB Seagate drive successfully.
Since I had paid for the True Image 2013 software, just as an after thought, I decided to try loading it again. This operation gives no warnings and True Image loaded successfully. On reboot after installing, it was particularly painful to realize 7 hours of cloning would have to be repeated. Thank goodness I still had the original undamaged hard drives allowing me to repeat the exercise.
So after buying True Image 2013, I am left with a program I can't refund or install and I lost my original True Image 2011 which cost considerably more than $29. I am mystified why Acronis would release a version of True Image that so violently clashes with the version of Disk Wizard also created by Acronis. I don't think I'll be a walking commercial for Acronis anymore. Shame on me for trying to reload True Image 2013 when I knew you couldn't load Disk Wizard on top on top of True Image but I expected another message telling me to uninstall Disk Wizard, not the total destruction of my computer.
True Image 2013's ad claims it can handle drives over 2 TB, but it certainly doesn't have any features for accessing the drive space over 2 TBs on 2010 vintage computers and it doesn't have a feature for setup of these drives. It may be able to work with an already setup 2 TB drive, I never had the opportunity to try it. Their ad also claims it can handle RAID drives. It cannot clone RAID drives.

I figure 4-5 hours of my time, figuring this out.
Presently still using version 11, although I have purchased 2013 for fun.
