True image 2014 is not responding, Sync issue?
I have been using Ti2014 on this computer for a long time. I replaced a drive and loaded a backup; all seemed to go okay everything worked.
Then when I click on Ti on the desktop it would not start. When I move the mouse cursor inside the Ti window it is just spinning like its loading. The title bar displays “True Image 2014 is not responding”.
I found that if I just leave it will start working in about 10 to 15 minutes. I have unlinked all computers on my account page and have stopped synchronization the best I could. When I go out of my account and come back the computer is listed again under synchronization.
What is it looking for and how do I stop it? I don’t use syn, I just backup to an external drive.
"Check for updates" tells me I am using the latest version.
EDIT: This is on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

I uninstalled the program using the uninstall option in the install program. Reinstalled it and that didn’t help either.
When I start it says “Acronis True Image 2014 (not responding)” in the upper left corner. I click on “backup and recovery” and it says “Loading please wait…” it said that for 40 minutes and then went to the screen that lets me choose to backup data or browse for old backups. I picked “backup data” and it ran for another 20 minutes. Then I clicked on “browse” for the destination, it took another 15 minutes before populating the window with the drives I have.
It is running a backup now but I sure don’t feel that this is reliable. I’ve been using 2014 on this machine for a long time with no issues. This is a clean install of WIN7 64bit with no issues. But Acronis sure is looking for something it can’t find. What it’s looking for or why it takes all that time to determine it’s not there is what is puzzling me.
