True Image 2015 doesn't install on Windows 10

Has anyone experienced the following, and solved the issue?

I had True Image 2015 installed on Windows 7, no issues. After upgrading to Windows 10, then trying to launch TI 2015, I got a message saying the software wasn't installed (see first screenshot). So I started the installation program again, which asked whether I wanted to repair or deinstall. Choosing repair seemed to work (see second screenshot), but when trying to launch TI 2015, the same message came up again.

Next I tried with the latest build, 6613. Same problem. So I thought I'd deinstall and try with a fresh installation. But that failed, too, with a runtime error, see last screenshot).

Acronis Support suggests to upgrade to the next version, TI 2016. But, hey, that's suggesting to spend another €50 on software I just recently bought for €50.

Any pointers how to deinstall (or repair) TI 2015 are greatly appreciated.
