True Image 2015 - how to specify the name of an backup-file?

Thread needs solution

I want to backup a harddisk-volume (partition) and I only found the option for choosing a folder for backup-files, but no option to specify a filename for a backup-file?

Does TI 2015 provide an option for giving backups filenames?

For example:

Standard backup-filename ..................... HOMEPC (C)_full_b1_s1_v1.tib

I want to give the backup-filename ......... 20 - HOMEPC incl Security - 2015-08.tib

You are stick with the suffix:_full_b1_s1_v1.tib

The part before the suffix (_full_b1_s1_v1.tib) is user controlled

This next link may provide some additional options
Whatever name or rename you assign to your backup task name will become the name of the tif file plus the suffix will be added.

Renaming the backup after creating a backup, of course, is an option, but is this option also available before creating the backup (within TI 2015)? I preferably specify an own name instead of scripting a name. In addition I usually enable "shutdown after backup finished", so I can leave my PC, while the backup is being created.

Assignment of the task name within the program via the task name creation.

The name of the backup task is created or changed during the task creation.
The task name can also be renamed later after backups created, although keeping the chain name the same during chain creation would be best.

The edits to the script (such as date macros) via notepad is outside the program and has no effect on the program.
What you put into this edit is under user control and not part of the program.

Any changes by the user to the tib name using the Windows rename function will cause you grief. Ongong backups will not continue.
Older versions of TI would accept a name change but since the meta history file was created, the newer versions program wants control of everyithing.

Any of the above should be tested by the user to confirm you get your desired results. Some of the suggested edits of the script is outside the user manual.

Thank you for clarifying this.
