True Image 8 freezes

I use true image 8 on a P4 and a WD 160GB ide hd. When I want to create an image through a boot cd the programme starts normally and freezes shortly after.
What could be the problem?

Did it ever work before?

Are you using the latest build of TI 8? It should be available in your Acronis account.
