True Image Home 2012 - synchronization not working with a NAS

Thread needs solution

I want to synchronize a folder on a NAS to the Aronis Online Storage. I have bought 250 GB storage.

The folder is located on \\192.168.2.3\xxx and is password protected on the NAS.

I created a new synchronization profile. When select the folder I have to enter the username and password for the folder. I tested the connection.

The synchronization is not working. In the log file the following messages appears:

Could not open the folder \\192.168.2.3\xxxx

Please help.

I'm also encountering the same problem. The error in the event log looks as follows:

"Failed to open synchronized folder '\\host\...'.

Synchronization between local folders however is working.

Same here. The log file shows the following.

Event details: Failed to open synchronized folder '\\QUASAR\...'.
Error code: More information about this error and solutions may be available online in the Acronis Knowledge Base.
To access the online resource manually, enter the event code at: http://kb.acronis.com/errorcode/
Event code: 0x01910021+0x00040014+0x0000FFF0+0x800704C3

There does not yet seem to be any useful information in the knowledge base.

Did anybody ever get this resolved, I'm having the same issue with TIH 2012. I ftp'd a whole bunch of system info to tech support.

Hi Anthony,

I have since upgraded to a newer version of TIH 2012, but the issue is not resolved in my setup.

There now is a KB article about the issue (or at least a similar issue):
http://kb.acronis.com/content/30709

But it does not apply to my setup since I only have a single sync configured.

Cheers, L

Same here exactly. The Log error referred me to that KB article BUT: The credentials I'm using are the same as Windows (7, x64); I have no other sync configured to that NAS or any other network device. I've even tried removing the other sync I had (Local -> local) but still get the same error.
