True Image Home freeze when USB connected

Hello,

I just bought Acronis Home 2013, I'm very disappointed. The application start when the application but does not start when an external drive is connected on USB port (Key : Corsair USB 3.0 or drive : HD Iomega).

When I start the application, I connected the USB external drive, the application is "Not Responding"

The computer is Sony Vaio Serie S SSD:256Mb - 12MB ram - Core i7 with Windows 8

Could you fix it ?

Which external device causes the problem the Iomega drive or the Corsair?

Have you tried a different USB port?

Is there any software installed that is provided by Iomega to access their drive?

You might need to raise a support ticket with Acronis if you are within your 30 day support period.

Also try using either a usb2 port or a usb2 cable--or both. Certainly the usb3 would be preferred but test whether usb2 works.

Iomega drive and Corsair have the same problem. I tried several port (I didn't pay attention but all my test was on USB 3.0) same problem. But right now, I just tested on USB 2.0 port and no problem. Acronis start, no freeze.

I'll raise a support ticket.
