TrueImage 11, what services can I terminate?
to all,
have searched forums before, but am not sure what is best
I have TI 11 (have TI 2010 but not installed, too buggy, see my other posts)
I do TI 11 fro the windows interface, and I do not have it set to run scheduled tasks, etc.
WHAT services can I turn off (scheduler, monitor, etc, things running in task manager), so that when I WANT TI 11 to run, I can just click on the run icon, set the parameters, run it, and shut it down?
thanks
Nick

If you wish to run TI 11 from within Windows and don't want to mount any images, you can stop TIMOUNTER (untick in MSCONFIG or use Windows Utils to remove from start up list), TrueImageMonitor (MSCONFIG, this just produces the fancy system tray item), T&D service (if not wanting to use Try and Decide), Scheduler2 service in Services.
You should leave SchedulerHLP running though, as if I recall this is used to actually start TI. Without this running, TI in Windows won't run - I could be wrong here, but the others can all be disabled if you wish.
