TrueImage 2015 Trial
I had Acronis True Image 2014 installed. I've been growing increasingly disgruntled with the myriad of features that don't work as advertised. As a result I've been looking at other backup alternatives. Before giving up on Acronis entirely, I decided to give the 2015 version a try. I downloaded the trial version and installed it. Instead of installing alongside the 2014 version, it installed overtop of it as an update without bothering to backup the 2014 files. There was no warning that it was going to do this. If there was I would have opted out of the install.
Am I correct in assuming that uninstalling the 2015 version at this point will completely remove TrueImage from my computer, and that if I want to revert back to using the 2014 version I will need to reinstall it and reconfigure all my backups?

You would have to go to your Acorns.com account and download your 2014 version back and reinstall it.
Always a good idea to do a system backup before trying new software ;-)

I did back up my system. That is not the point. It is pi$$ poor design that the trial version of the software would overwrite a previous version without notifying the user that it was doing so. I will be reinstalling the 2014 version for now only because I have a couple of legacy backups I need to recover files from. But I will not be upgrading to any future versions of TrueImage moving forward.
