TrueImage backup task fails with msg: Failed to process pair script...

Hi all,
(Acronis TrueImage Home 2010; Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit)

I have run this system backup task successfully for past 5 years. However, for the last few days when I run it it fails within a couple of seconds with the message: Operation failed; when I open the log, there is an item:
Warning... (date, time)... Failed to process pair script:(followed by letters and numbers)

Seems to me as if a script file associated with this task has become corrupted. I have the complete disk Acronis backup so I can restore files but I don't know which one(s).
My Qs:
1. Has anyone encountered this issue, and what causes it?
2. Does anyone know which file(s) in which folder(s) to restore, assuming that is indeed the solution?

I may add all my other backup tasks run OK, its just this ONE that is giving me trouble.

My suggestion would be to stop using the problem task and start over with a new task. Other tasks associated with this backup could be the validation task if that is being validated immediaely following or a scheduled later validation. Startting a new task is your best chance for success.

Thanks for your reply, GroverH. This is a standalone task with no other associated tasks.
It is a customized backup and I don't remember all the details from the time I created it 5yrs ago and was hoping to just recover the corrupted files to get it going. Anyway, I do think its time to re-create it as best I can and go from there.
