TrueImage.exe CONSTANTLY uses about 17% of my CPU power!

Thread needs solution

Hi! TrueImage.exe CONSTANTLY uses about 17% of my CPU (AMD 6 core) power, while I am not using True Image 2013!

How can this be avoided? Is this a bug?

Commandline is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome\TrueImage.exe"

Process Priority is: Normal

File size is: 23.285.712 Bytes

MD5: 336E05BBB66C8055AFE4C07CB4AD7609

My system: Windows 7 x64 SP1

To whom at Acronis should I send the electricity bill?

Do you have non-stop backup or synchronizations running?
On my Windows 8 Pro 64 bit system TrueImage.exe shows no CPU activity.

No, I don't have non-stop backup or synchronizations running. TrueImage 2013 version is: 16.0.0.5551

Do you know that ATI causes this? If you exit out of ATI, does CPU usage drop by that amount?

I haven't seen this on any PCs I've worked on.

Open up task Manager and click on Process Manager - see if there is an 'service_process.exe' file running and is assigned a tib file.
