Try&Decide failed always:-(
Hello,
I have upgradet to TI 2010 and I'm testing.
I love the feature "Try&Decide" but in 2010 always appaers the message: Failed
Before TI activate T&D he does stop the nonstop backup.
Wath happens there.

No.
I mean the NonStop Backup ( new feature) from TI 2010. This is stopped by TI if I want the T&D Mode.
But T&D does not work, I have a secure zone from 14 GB . in TI 2009 all features works fine. BUT 2010..hm...:-((

ok but I don't know what the non stop backup is you refer to.
Did you uninstall previous version of TI before installing 2009?
Try and decide does not use the secure zone in the new version of TI you see and may be there is a conflict

How can I activate try and decide for all users? for the moment being is activated only for the administrator but even so the application fails to start. Any help?

First of all I would like to mention that Try and Decide automatically turns off NonStop Backup by design in order to avoid system overload.
Please also keep in mind that Try and Decide can be started only by Administrator for security reasons. You can find more details in the User's Guide, page 108.
Wolfgang, Charalampos, unfortunately due to the lack of diagnostic information it is difficult to say what was the cause of the issue, so this situation requires investigation. Could you please obtain the following information:
- Acronis Info from the machine in question
- Screenshot of the issue with the "details" unscreened
- Exact sequence of steps performed before you encountered this issue
After that please contact support directly with the information attached. Keep in mind that should there be any procrastination with the reply, you can always specify me the case number, and we will do our best to speed up the process.

Out of the blue Try&Decide started working normally without me taking any further action. So I will revert if the problem appears again. Thank you for your assistance.

I had the same problem. I lost the Event Number because I only saved it to memory, but now that I finally find this page and hit Shift and Insert, it is cleared out. However, it was an 0970008 error number. After waiting for about 10 minutes after pushing the "Click to Start" button, it only gave me the message that it couldn't start, and the event number is not listed in your database.
I don't think the number matters much. Just the problem matters, and I have found a solution.
The solution is to press the button that says "Reset settings to default" and then hit the "Click to start" button. That is all that needs to be done, and then it will work like a charm.
