Ture Image 2014 won't clone SSD

Thread needs solution

No problem cloning my boot SSD to external SSD (Windows 7 64bit) with True Image 2013. Will not clone with True Image 2014 unless I do it from a bootable media DVD, which works OK. (This isn't practical for everyday use as is way too cumbersome and time consuming).

Tech Support is useless. I sent them all the info files. They don't fully read email responses, ask same questions over and over, and is just a waste of time.

I'm wondering if I can have both 2013 and 2014 on my hard drive, so I can use 2013 for cloning or 2014 for regular backups. Or am I better off removing 2014 and going back to 2013?

Thanks.

Paul

You can only have one verson installed. If you can only clone from within Windows using the 2013 version, you really don't much choice but to revert back to 2013. If within 30 days of purchase, you qualify for asking for the money backupguarantee.

You can either restore a 2013 backup, or use the 2014 cleanup utility and then reinstall 2013.
