Two issues with Nonstop Backup

I use Nonstop Backup to backup important files settings like my Firefox or Dragon NaturallySpeaking profile and the files in My Documents folder.
My files are on two discs, 1 HDD and 1 SDD and the backup is stored on a HDD.
I used to the most recent version of True Image 2013.

Every now and then I encounter these issues:

1. Files are locked by the Nonstop Backup. I noticed this because for instance, when I restart Firefox, it has the settings it had several minutes ago, not to the most recent ones. Or, Dragon NaturallySpeaking tells me it can't save its profiler files, because the files are locked on the disk. However, if I temporarily stop the Nonstop Backup, I don't run into these problems anymore.

2. Every five days or so, my Nonstop Backup gets corrupted; the Windows process just stops and I see a small notification in the Windows tray. If I try to restart it manually, it would stop again after a few seconds. When I look in the event log for the Nonstop Backup, it doesn't say anything interesting about why it stopped. The only way to get it working again is to delete everything about the old Nonstop Backup and to set it again.
Let me add that I tried to access the Nonstop Backup from the recovery CD, but it kept saying that it wouldn't open the backup because it's not the most recent one!

Did anyone encounter these issues and found the problem?

Have you expanded the top line of the log file to see if any errors are listed? If so, posting a screen shot showing the errors can help.

Also, what operating system are you running?

Hello, I run Windows 7 64 bit home edition. Now once again the nonstop backup has failed and I was able to capture the log. Since this forum doesn't allow me to upload files, here it is: http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/5153/imagedupressepapiers.png It appears that the errors were 0x006B0000 and 0x001703EE, that are not documented on the website when you click on the error link. So Acronis, what's the matter?

The corruption of the metadata file has been a a known problem for quite some time, and Acronis is actively working on finding a solution to it. You might want to search through the forums (both the current 2013 forum and the older versions forum) for nonstop issues if you want to come up to speed on what's been reported to date.
