Unable to boot off Acronis TI'12 on new comptuer

Thread needs solution

As part of my new build I installed Acronis '12 to generate backups and such. The problem is... any time I try to boot up using the Acronis CD, like I would if I had to mount a backup image, I get nonsense like this:

...and the system is locked up, I have to hard reset it. It starts normally... flashes the Acronis screen, gives me the menu (I select Acronis True Image '12), says it's starting (the Acronis black screen logo) and then dumps that.

Obviously that's not going to work at The Moment of Truth... anyone know what's going on?

System build: Pentium G3220, ASRock H81M-HDS, Intel 530, ODD, 8GB RAM, W7Home. This is a new build, I've checked all the relevant drivers and such.

I use TI'12 on two other W7 computers and have never had any problems like this...

Update: I created a rescue CD using the current install of TI'12, I can finally get to the main menu about 50% of the time. The problem I have now is I can't use the keyboard or mouse to navigate... I verified I have the correct MS driver installed, I created a newer rescue CD to make sure I had it... but, still no go with keyboard/mouse.
