Unable to change backup option
Good evening,
I realized, that my NAS is out of space and therefore, no further backup can work.
Now, I found a usefull backup option: automatic cleanup
I want to activate the automatic cleanup with custom settings; I want to choose "delete versions older than 5 days with full backup option. I choose the option to save the settings as default. See attachement acronis_err_1.jpg
This I can set perfectly, but when I want to save it, I get the following error: the specified file does not exist.... see attachement acronis_err_3.jpg
Also, when I choose once again, how the file name should be built (@machine@_@date@_@time@_@exec@), the error is still shown.
Is this maybe a bug?
Thanks and best regards
Rolf

There have been reported to be problems trying to save settings as default settings. Avoid using this "Save as Default" and just set the settings for each task. It may take a little longer but fewer problems.
Hopefully the next build will be released soon.

Rolf,
My suggestion would be to delete any complete backup sets which you do not want to keep. Delete enough to get whatever free space you need.
Then, create a completely new task with the settings you want to use so you can avoid a full disk in the future. Point the destination of your new backups into the a new or different folder so the new backups do not end up with all the other old backups.
Acronis really does not provide any easy tools to easily recover from a full disk error.
Note regarding attachment 1. When creating a new task or editing a prior task: Note there are 4 tabs across the top. Anytime you are creating settings or adjustments in any of these 4 tabs and it is time to click the OK button. Before you press the OK button, click over to the come back to the "backup scheme" tab and press the OK button from this particular tabular section. Sounds crazy but this method seems to help get your proper settings retained.
If you qualify for free support (<30 days from purchase), you might want to fill out a support ticket and see what the official Acronis recommendation is.
