Unable to clone Raid 0 SSD to single SSD

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I received my Vertex 3 120GB today.
I'm not having allot of luck cloning my old Agility Raid 0 setup to it.

I've purchased Acronis True Image 2012 and done what was outlined by OS-Wiz.
The process starts (calculating) and then an error pops up from the task bar and that's about as far as it's getting. There is no information I can see to what the error is.

I have activated the Vertex 3 in Disk Management. Also tried quick formatting.
And even giving it a drive letter.
But I've also tried not formatting it and what I describe below is still the case :|

To clarify.. I'm opening Acronis going to CLONE DISK.
Then MANUAL.
My Agility Raid 0 shows up as Intel Raid 0 Volume 1.0. (Disk 1) (shows in computer management as Disk 0) I select that then click NEXT.
Then I select the Vertex 3 which is Disk 2 (shows in computer management as Disk 1).
But it shows a small red icon with a white cross on the green bar.

So I continue anyway... Click NEXT...
Then I select PROPORTIONAL... NEXT...
I see the summary before I begin but the small red icon with the white cross is still on the Vertex 3 drives green bar.
I click PROCEED...

Comes up Operation has started then shortly after Operation has failed. That's all I see.

I've tried the Vertex on the Marvell 6G controller and also on the Intel 3G controller.
Since both the Intel 6G ports are in use by the Agility Raid config that I'm trying to Clone from.

I've made the Acronis Media Builder and tried the Clone when booting up from that.
But the Vertex 3 drive is not accessible (greyed out).

I really need to get this back up done if possible.

Any advice please?

EDIT:
Just checked what drivers the Vertex is using Within Windows 7 Ultimate.
Shows the following...
Provider: Microsoft
Driver Date: 21/06/2006
Driver Version: 6.1.7600.16385

Motherboard: Asus Maximus IV Extreme (P67)

In Anvil it says FW is 2.15 and the storage driver is iaStorV.

Since you will be changin disk controllers, you will need to use the Universal Restore feature that comes with the paid-for Plus Pack. You should do a backup of your RAID0 disks and then, using an Acronis bootable recovery media you will have produced after having installed the Plus Pack,. use the UR feature. You will need to drivers for the disk controller the single SSD will be using, in the *.inf format, available during the restore. This is not an easy procedure.
If I were you, I would reinstall Windows and my apps. Feel free to try UR.
