Unable to re-create partition for Secure Zone

XP SP3: New to Acronis

Created a ‘Secure Zone Partition on my ‘C’ drive, used successfully both for ‘Recovery Management’ and ‘TryMe’. Later removed the partition from within Acronis in accord with instructions. (Attempting to resolve a TomTom conlict problem). Partition removed with no problems. Acronis will now not remake the partion – it goes through all stages, but when the progress box is being displayed no progress bars appear. After a very short period the requiremnt to reboot appears and windows goes through the partition verification/qualification process, system restarts, but the new partition has not been created. Help please.
