Unable to restore backups - MFT Bitmap Corrupt
Hello.
I attempted to install Acronis 2013 today. This returned a BSoD from which I was unable to recover my system. I didn't worry as I had a number of Acronis 2012 Images stored. I tried to restore my system from each of this images, but was unable to dod so due to the following error: "MFT Bitmap Corrupted (0x70018) Teg = 0x89D94B01B483DCA4"
I validated the backup images. They all passed without any issues. The HDD on which the image is stored has no errors. Each of these image contained two disk images. One of the System Disk wich contains Windows 7 x64 and the other is a System Reseved area. The original disk from which the image was made is a 256GB SSD. It is to this disk that I am trying to restore this image.
If I am unable to recover this disk, I will have to install my whole computer again which will entail downloading over 100GB of data. This will take months as I only have a limited download allowance each year.
Why does this happen and is there a way around it?
I used to be a happy Acronis user and have downloaded many editions of the application. This is the first time I have had any problems, but it is such a major problem that it is most likely a game changer for me. If this problem cannot be fixed, I will not be buying any Acronis program again. I trusted this program and it has let me down in a most unacceptable way. I am devasted.
I am running a Windows 7 Professional x64 system.
Regards,
Jon.

I believe this is similar to the problem I reported:

Somehow ATIH unnecessarily checks disk integrity.
