unable to transfer Acronis 2015 license from one PC to another PC

Thread needs solution

For several days I have tried to transfer my Acronis True Image 2015 license from an old laptop PC to another desktop PC.  After I login it displays both the PC's in question, and the "transfer" button is active.  But when I press the "transfer" button, the button greys out and nothing further happens.  I have tried waiting as long as 20 minutes to see if the transfer occurs, but it just sits there.  Any comments?

Please see KB 48380: Acronis True Image 2015: "You've exceeded the maximum number of activations for this serial number" for the documented procedure of moving a license to another PC.

If this doesn't work for you, then I would suggest opening a Support Case directly with Acronis.
