Update 1 - Automatic clean up no longer seems to work

Thread needs solution

On two PCs, each with several tasks, I no longer seem to be able to set automatic clean up for tasks with custom backup rules.

The automatic clean up settings defined just don't seem to stick. Each time I re-edit the settings they are turned off.

At the moment this Update 1 does not seem much good to me. It has casued numerous problems and does not seem to have resolved any of my problems other than minor cosmetic issues.

I think this *may* happen when you import an old backup and then try to create a task for it.

Not 100% sure that was the cause, but anyway, I recreated the tasks that had this problem from scratch and the issue seems to have gone away. For two tasks that were added to imported backups (created with 2011 update 0.5) it is still impossible for me to add cleanup options.

It's not as simple as that. I've had the problem with other backups too. But creating a new backup setting it all up correctly first time and never editing it seems to work!

Yep, it looks like there is a bug that pretty much prevents auto cleanup working once a task is edited. Even if it was originally set when the task is created, it gets reset to OFF once the task is edited and saved.

Recreating the task from scratch every time a small change is made will get old very, very fast. I hope a swift patch can be released to resolve.
