Update claims files are in use

Thread needs solution

Following normal upgrade and get "files are in use message" - options are: retry, ignore, cancel. Retry does a loop. I did not wish to cancel so I hit IGNORE. Things proceeded normally and I hope I have a full installation. Just telling you about an install bug.

Hello Fred,

Please reboot the machine when possible. The message is indeed somewhat confusing, and it will be clarified in the newer builds.

Basically it means that some files from the previous version are locked by some other process (e.g. shell components - used for opening the backup files by simple double-click - may be locked by Windows explorer module and can't be overwritten by the 2015 modules in real time). Clicking ignore will schedule replacing the locked modules after the reboot.

I.e. the installation is fine, but a reboot is needed to finalize replacement of some of the modules.
