update gives me blue screen on reboot
OS= Win 7 64bit
Build= 7133
Hi,
I just ran the update for 2012 as prompted when I open the acronis app. After install I chose to reboot as prompted and on reboot I got a blue screen.
The pc was able to continue on and start on its own. After booting to windows I was not able to open the acronis app. I got scared and decided to check my windows restore points and I found there were none! Somehow it wiped out my restore points. I restarted again. Then I was able to open acronis. I checked restore points again and there still are none.
Is there anyway to get those back?

Thanks for the info.
I should have pointed out that ati seems to be working fine after a couple of restarts without messing with msconfig. My concern was that I wanted to get my restore points back and I was concerned that an update to ati could cause such a harsh crash that it would wipe them out.
Thanks, Mike
