update for home 2012 available?
I log into ATIH 2012 and get a screen stating update available, when I go to update page it says I have latest version. What gives?

I got same message as Stephen. I then downloaded manually and clicked on file to install and same screen came up and said I have latest. I still have 5545. What do I do now?

I am having the same problem:
When I boot up Acronis TIH 2012 (build 5545) it says there is a new update. I request it to install the new update and it tells me that I have the latest version.
I have logged into my Acronis account. I have downloaded the latest build 6131. When I try to install this new version, it tells me that I have the latest version.
Where is the problem and how do I fix it so that I can load the new build? Is it possible to download a new version update file that does not check for updates prior to the installation? This problem is the same on my two desktop computers (with two Acronis licenses). Both computers are using the Windows Vista 64 bit Operating System.
I have searched the Forum and the Knowledge Base for a fix. I have not found one. If there is one available, please supply a link to it.
I noticed that there is a Hotfix for build 6131. There is no version history for this fix. I am assuming that the full new version must get loaded first before installing the Hotfix, so it does not apply to my problem.
Thanks!

I had a similar issue when I had a beta installed that was older than the download.
You could try unistalling the current version and then installing the newer one.

I appreciated your reply.
I may try your solution, but if I do, I suspect that everything is deleted and I will have to setup all of my defined backups along any specific changes I have made to the software on both computers. The version I am using is not beta. I purchased it as an upgrade after it was officially announced.
It appears to me that this is a bug in the software, either in what I have currently installed, or with the latest build I am trying to install. If the new build would not automatically check for updates, or it would give me a choice to over ride it, I could probably install it.
The problem I am having with my current installation is that when I register it and it says it it registered, it eventually reverts back to needing registration again. When that happens and I have not noticed it, I have lost one or more backups, as it will not perform a backup until it is registered. The version history for this update seems to indicate that this problem is fixed. I also want to update the software to the latest changes and bug fixes.
Thanks!

i dont kno if it fixs your issue but getting the latest version, register your serial number on the acronis web site, login and go to downloads, get updates.

I have already tried that solution. Either downloading the update from my account or letting the current version find the new version, I have the same problem. I cannot get beyond the "check for updates, you are using the latest version" window.
Thanks!
