Upgrade from Home Version to Workstation?

I have been using TI Home Version 9.0 for some PCs, but now I would like to upgrade to Workstation 10 and also get the Universal Restore option. Can I purchase the upgrade license of Workstation 10 or do I have to purchase a full blown license?

You would need the Full version.

See this KB article. It states: Upgrade from Acronis True Image Home to Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 is not possible.

They are different product lines. In addition, the B&R 10 upgrade version would want a key for Echo or 9.1, not a home version.
