Upgrade to a new Windows 8 PC

Thread needs solution

I am currently running True Image 2012 on a Windows 7 PC. I have purchased a new Windows 8 PC. I know that the 2012 version is not supported on Windows 8, however I have purchased but not installed True Image 2013 on the Windows 7 PC since I will not be able to migrate the program over to the new PC. My question is since I purchased an upgrade and it will appear to be a new install to the new PC, will that work. If not, I am not sure how I can use the upgrade since TI 2012 will not run on a Windows 8 PC.

You don't need to install ATI2012. "Upgrade" is just a pricing and licencing model, while the ATI2013 installer will install the full application. You will need to enter the serial #s for both ATI2012 and ATI2013. I believe you first enter the 2013 serial number and then enter the 2012 serial number.

Once you've done that on the Win8 PC, you will no longer be able to use ATI2012 on the Win7 PC.
