Upload limit of 2 GB, when uploading to FTP (SIZE not allowed in ASCII mode).

This is for me the main reason not to purchase Acronis True Image 2011 for me; there is a limit, which doesn't allow you to upload files over 2 GB to a FTP-location.

This is probably caused by ASCII-mode, in which TI2011 uploads.

This is the error which Acronis True Image 2011 gives me, when I try to upload a backupped partition of over 2 GB to my FTP (from within Acronis scheduler): SIZE not allowed in ASCII mode

I was expecting this to be solved in the latest *hotfix*, but apparently Acronis doesn't care much about this problem, nor it's clients.

For a backup program, this is really limiting the ability to use it. Also we were considering several products from Acronis on the office, however because of this *simple* bug, I think we should investigate other options. Especially considering I already mentioned this to support (chat) and forums.

However, as you can have guessed it, nothing was done with this information...

Back in the old days, Acronis would have tackled this problem right away. Guess clients aren't as important as they were at Acronis.
