USB MOUSE and KEYBOARD DONT WORK
Hello
I'm using True Image Boot loader and when I use PS2 mouse and keyboard everything works fine, when I use USB mouse and keyboard, they don't work?
Acronis boots from USB key but don't recognize mouse and keyboard. I'm using 4ports USB hub, because I have only one USB port on the computer.
What could be the problem?

Hello all!
Thank you for finding time to post about the issue! Great thanks to WildOne for his comment - your assistance is highly appreciated.
This thread you mentioned actually deals with the wireless kit detection issue, USB problem differs from it a bit. And surely you can contact us via PM at any time in case you have faced the Acronis Bootable Rescue Media issue.
Dear Damijan, as far as I understood you are using the USB Acronis Bootable Rescue Media. In order to resolve the issue let's try the following:
- New Acronis Bootable Rescue Media CD
- Change the USB Legacy Support in BIOS
I have just sent you the new *.ISO image via PM, lease kindly burn it according to the instructions specified and test whether it resolves the issue.
I would appreciate if you could keep me updated, so that I could provide you with the further assistance if needed.
Thank you!

Hello all,
If your wireless USB mouse and keyboard, which are parts of a wireless USB kit, do not work in Acronis Bootable Media (the issue described in this article), please log in to your account, go to the Registered products and downloads section -> Bootable media (please note that the license should be registered). We have recently uploaded new files that contain the fix for the issue.
Download the file, create Acronis Bootable Media and check its' functionality..
You can find the information on how to download the appropriate ISOLINUX file in this article.
There are two types of Acronis Bootable Media:
- Acronis Bootable Media that you can generate in your Acronis product. This type of media is based on Acronis Loader;
- Acronis Bootable Media that you can download from your account on the Acronis website. This type of media is based on ISOLINUX.
ISOLINUX Bootable Media is usually more up to date than the Acronis Loader one. This is due to the fact a new version of Acronis Bootable Media is uploaded to the web site more frequently than regular product updates are released.
Please see this article on how to burn an ISO file to a CD disk.
Please let us know the results, we should be sure that the program runs flawlessly. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other question do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.
Thank you.

4) True Image 6053 CD
50 % successfuly
50 % A read disk error occured, please press Alt + Ctrl + Del
5) Grub4Dos
We didnt succeed to run acronis from Grub.
6) Acronis Backup Recovery 10 (linux like representation)
Work perfectly, but the PS2 mouse need to be plug on start to can use USB keybord for acronis.
7) Acronis Backup Recovery 10 (windows like representation)
Work perfectly, but the PS2 mouse need to be plug on start to can use USB keybord for acronis.
8) Syslinux boot with Kernel and Ramdisk from Acronis Backup Recovery 10. To recovery a backup made from True Image Echo Workstation.
Licence Key invalid
9) Syslinux boot with Kernel and Ramdisk from Acronis Backup Recovery 10. To recovery a backup made from Acronis Backup Recovery 10.
Keyboard doesnt work without PS2 Mouse.
So it would be very good, if we could use Acronis Backup Recovery 10 without PS2 mouse on start.
I add the report made from acronis report in attachment.
If we can use only USB mouse and keyboard we will upgrade to new working Acronis Backup Recovery 10.
Thanks for your help, regards
Damijan Pišek

Hi all, I am able to restore my image to a dissimilar hardware using Universal Restore 8.0. I am also able to select boot profile (normal, safe mode, and etc). However, both keyboard and mouse no longer function. I don't see the mouse pointer and have also tried the sticky key method by pressing the ESC key over 5 times, as suggested by another Acronis Fellow user.
I have created a scheduled task on the source machine and back up a new image that would initiate USB_Batch upon computer starts with Administrator user rights as stated in the link below:

However, the above method does not work either.
Your input is greatly appreciated.

Today [Sept14-2014] I downloaded latest true image 2014 premium and AcronisUniversalRestore.iso. Both do not detect my USB mouse [LogiTech Mx310] and keyboard [LogiTech K120] ]plugged into a USB 1.1/2.0 GigaByte GA-990FXA-UD3 MB with BIOS set for detecting legacy USB-Keyboard and Mouse. the instructions mention the availability of an AcronisUniversalRestore.mis file that allows installation of the App on Windows and next generate a bootmedia disk: no such thing was found.
could someone point me to a solution?
