W7 64 bit TIH will not start

Check your task manager process list and see if any instances of TrueImage.exe *32 are running. If so, terminate them and try launching again. That usually clears up any launching issues I have. Its a real annoyance to have to deal with this, and given that 2013 is released now, bug fix releases for 2012 will likely be more infrequent, if at all. :(

I just installed successfully TI Home 2012 on my W7 64bit computer including the download of update 2 but when I clicked on the ICON to start the program, a spinning wheel would show, harddrive light on but no program window appeared.
I thought it was because I did not activate right away so went to web site and registered.
Then tried to re-install that gave me problem as I was now unable to remove , had to use their cleaner which worked but that caused MS Installer to comeup after reboot for all my MS products,
I did get a window from MS as I tried the compatibility feature, it placed in a window 'TrueImageLauncher' was in conflict
Longwinded I agree. is this the issue as in a 32bit software gets loaded also ??
