What atotal rip off Acronis really is

I purchased 2010 only three weeks ago 4th August 21 days ago exactly, now I have to pay almost the same amount of cash for an "upgrade" save your money and use the Paragon free version. I feel exploited and will have nothing more to do with Acronis. In my opinion to take my cash with no mention of a forthcoming upgrade and then to ask me for another wedge of cash after only 21 days is dishonest and shows no respect for paying customers. As a subscriber to Computer Active Magazine I will send a copy of this post to their letters page.

According to the website, If you purchased in the last 30 days, then you can get a discount on ATI2011 ($10 instead of the $30 price for an upgrde for everyone else) and reportedly an email is being sent to recently registered users soon if not already.

Dear Kenneth, I completely understand how frustrating the situation may see and will do my best to shed some light to the situation.  I'm quite positive that we will anyway find a scenario that will suit you.

Not long ago before the Acronis True Image Home 2011 release our Sales team implemented the discount for the full version of Acronis True Image Home 2010, which we normally don't do. This promo discount lasted from July 23 to August 24 (release date). For all the Customers who purchased the product with the discount we sent an offer to upgrade to Acronis True Image Home 2011 for around $10.

So in both scenarios: 
   a) you purchased discounted Acronis True Image Home 2010 + upgrade 2011 (which is not the must, you can still use 2010 version, it's still fully supported)
   b) you purchased Acronis True Image Home 2011 full version
the final price will be absolutely the same.

In case you didn't receive a message with the link to the discounted upgrade, please let me know via PM - I will be glad to help you with it.
