What do I do now?

Thread needs solution

I'm running Windows7 Ultimate (64-bit). I went to update my Home2011 to build 6696 Iand I get a message that says Install errors and to remove the applicationusing ADd-remove. When I click on the "View log" it brings me back to the installation screen. When I opened The Programs and Features screen and tried to remove Home2011 I get amesage that he product is corrupted.

Bob,

Download the Acronis True Image Home 2011 cleanup utility, run it from an elevated command prompt (you don't need to have ATI installed when you do this). Reboot and reinstall 2011.

Should you need an alternative, another option would also if you have a recent prior backup, you could restore your main user system partition back to prior to the failed install attempt. From there do a normal uninstall of the old build. Download the new update from your Acronis registration page and install the new update manually.
