what a load of rubbish .....

Thread needs solution

The latest offering ATI 2010 has to be the worst piece of software i have ever had the misfortune to purchase. I (and my clients) have been loyal customers for 5 years - and have used the previous versions just fine.

you need to be able to trust your backup software or what is the point ....

i now have a piece of software that can't recognize my external usb drives - in standalone mode - not even the one where it allowed me to create my online image !! (yes i have the latest iso)

on-line backup - just does not work - one of the main reasons i bought the upgrade.

and the final straw - when i realized what a load of rubbish this is - is when i found myself ghosting a disk with Ghost - before i could risk trying the "try and decide" utility - because i have so little faith in the software - I was worried my system would be corrupted"

I am gone - done- finished with ACRONIS - once i realize i cannot trust my backups - i cannot use or recommend the software any more - ACRONIS you have lost me - you have done a 'TOYOTA'

Would i come back - i doubt it - my backups have to be something i can rely on - and not wonder if it will work - I have enough stress in my job without adding an unnecessary extra one !

Hello Stephen,

Please accept our profound apologies for the difficulties you've experienced with our software.

I'll do my best to help you with your issues, but first I need some additional information from you.

1. To find out why your external drive is not recognized, I need Acronis Linux Report. Please check this KB article, generate a report and attach it to your reply to this thread.

2. Could you please clarify what exactly issues you have with Acronis Online Backup?

We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.

Thank you.
