Where to report bugs in Acronis True Image Home 2011?

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I was just wondering where users are supposed to report bugs to Acronis regarding True Image Home 2011? Normally I'd just try to contact their support team, but my free support period has ended, and I'm sure not going to pay to give them a bug report.

Oh you've apparently missed my flaming on this issue in the three big threads we have going, the most active of which has become http://forum.acronis.com/forum/15776. These threads are about unresponsiveness (freezing up, slow, closing down etc.) issues with the Windows GUI.

There is no way. They say you must open a support ticket and in the end if what you report ends up being a bug they will either not charge you or issue a refund. That scares me due to the subjective nature of bug vs support.

All that said, if your bug is related to this unresponsiveness with the Windows GUI (graphical user interface) please post there with us! If it's about something else, well, you could always post the issue here and hope someone might see it. Luckily the issue in the thread I linked above is a huge one affecting many users, some of which were still in their 30 days and took the time to open a free support ticket. But if nothing else, for the community at least, please share with us your information?

Sometimes it is very difficult to be sure if the issue is caused by a bug or a computer's software/hardware configuration.
