whole drive backups

Thread needs solution

TI 2015 build 6613.
Just a couple of questions. In this build of TI I note that the user cannot change the level of compression when setting up a schedule for full disk backups. As the completed image is smaller than expected even allowing for Hiberfil and page files excluded. I guess that "Normal" compression is being applied.

Immediately after restoring a full drive image to a spare drive I notice that TI starts an un-commanded full drive image backup. This takes considerably longer than a scheduled backup. I cannot see the point in this extra backup.Has this Quirky behaveiour been corrected in the new 2016 version of True Image?

Hi xpilot,
Missed your postings of the past.

This link is for 2016 but you might check if compression option exists when creating a new task--in backup options.
