Why doesn't Acronis REALLY delete the backups I want to remove? Plus a "Try" question.

Using v 6614 here and I wonder why when I display the list of backups and choose DELETE, using the red "X", the file isn't really removed it just makes it not show in the on screen list.

I have to manually go to my external HD and delete the files there. If it's now going to really remove them why have it as a choice?

I 'd think there would be a way to have the list reflect what's really in the My Backups list, if there is I can't find it. To me the on screen list is meaningless, there are backups that don't show in the list but are clearly there on the external HD.

I also notice that Try and Decide doesn't stop running when I use the tool tray icon, I have to drill down and find the main page and shut it off from there.Using the icon will reboot the machine, but when it comes back up, Try is still running and the changes are still there! I was always able to use the icon in earlier versions to stop Try from running, now I can't. Again if it's not going to work why have it listed that it CAN be used?

If I am doing something wrong let me know.
