Will Acronis retain position of the second partiton?

There have been numerous post about SSD and alignment, so I know that Acronis doesn't really support alignment at the beginning of the drive, but on the Dell that I am going to install, I notice the partition is like this:

Partition 1 - FAT 16 - Dell Utility
Partition 2 - NTFS - Windows XP
Partition 3 - FAT 32 - Dell Restore
Partition 4 - FAT 32 - Media Direct

So basically, I just need to have Partition 2 aligned. On idea I have is to Increase Partition 1 by a little and shrink Partition 2 a little to get partition 2 to align on a 4K page boundary. If I take a backup now and then do a image restore, will the second partition retain the same page boundary?

What if I just restore the second partition, will it still retain the boundary?

Of course, I have no idea if the Dell bootloader is going to freak out when I change the partition size, I guess I'll find out.

Well, the answer is that it does not retain partition alignment. When I restore the second partition was a little off from the original. I used gparted to move the partition to an align section.
