Win7 pop ups and Secure Zone Space
Hi,
First, I'm using ATM 2009 build 9,809 on Win7 32 bit (fully patched). In the TI program I have 455Gb reserved as Secure Zone (197Gb used). The task log and everything is saying that everything is fine and the tasks are running as they should.
However, in My Computer (or rather just "Computer"), I have a Hard Drive listed under "Hard Disk Drives" called SecureZone (S:) and it's listed as having 1.43MB free of 39.1MB - I have 2x 500 Gb drives, that's all. Under "Other" called Acronis Secure Zone (system folder). The main problem I'm having is that every few seconds Windows is giving me a popup on this drive S: that it is running out of space and it's driving me nuts.
Can I just go into Disk Management and fry this drive away (it's a logical drive). When I go in it via "Computer", it's just empty.
Attached is a screenshot of my Disk Management. Drives C: & E: are one drive split in two and Drive D: is a small portion of the other physical drive that contains the Secure Zone (both the real one and this weird S: drive).
So, can I just kill S: and merge that space with say D:? Ultimately I'm going to move the page file to D: so it's on a physically different drive than Windows.
Thanks!
