Windows 7 Blue Screen restart while creating system backup

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I have tried to perform a backup of my main C: partition (to partition G:) with Acronis True Image Home on Windows 7 Professional. As this will take some time, I came back to my PC after a while and recognised my PC had rebooted. After logging on again I got a Windows error messsage dialog stating, the system had restarted due to a blue screen:

This happens whenever performing a system backup with TrueImage. Please see also the Windows Minidump and the Acronis report in the file attachments.
Can you please tell me how to resolve the problem?

Stop code 0x0000009F relates to a W7 fault in the power management driver. That is the one that governs when your system sleeps etc.

There are a number of external factors that can cause this problem, often it is related to external drives, so it might be that either the Windows power managment drive is corrupted or SNAPAPI driver is causing a problem.

I suggest in the first instance to switch off the power manager and disable the hybernation function (if enabled). Reboot and see if the problem still exists.
