Windows 7 TI support

Thread needs solution

I understand the "official" Acronis statement that only TI 2010 Home supports Windows 7. However, many posts here and elsewhere say TI 2009 Home works fine. I have seen notes that TI2009 will not mount an image in Windows 7. I have found it will not mount an image in XP either (and Acronis Support can't help). Other than that, I have not found anything that says 2009 won't work. I am using it with the W7 RC, no problems.

Can the Acronis moderators watching this forum tell me one thing that won't work in TI 2009 Home in Windows 7, 32 or 64 bit? I understand they may offer no support, but technically, with the latest build, what won't work.

Not sure, but a showstoppr issue may the restore of an image.
I think that I saw someone state that Win 7 requires different starting point, so earlier versions cannot handle this.

Tho, I would expect that if one does a sector by sector backup and then a sector by sector restore, things should work, but I am just guessing.
