Wrong drive letter
My computer (Windows 10 Pro) has 2 drives:
- C: (containing Windows/programs)
- D: (containing data)
However during backup preparation, ATI 2015 ver 6567 bootable CD shows different drives letters:
- D: (in place of C:)
- E: (in place of D:)
Why? is this a defect of True Image or my computer?
I'm afraid that restoring this backup could imply critical issues (since there're some poiting between C: and "D:", with this exact letters)
How to fix it?

And what about the restore?
Would it reproduce the Windows unit labels or Acronis Rescue Media one? (in the second case it'd be a big problem)

Recovery will put back the drive & partitions as they were when the backup image was created, with the correct drive letters and labels.

Rescue media is a completely different and temporary OS - the drive letters in it (regardless if using default rescue media which is Linux, or WinPE or WinRE, will likely have different drive letters during the restore process, because drive letters will already be assigned to other devices in that temp environment. The settings for the actual drive letters are stored in the OS that you plan to restore and will be the same upon restoral, as they were when the backup was taken.

So you confirm what Steve Smith said: drive letters'll be the same as Windows ones after restore. Good!
