[RESOLVED] Installer error on win 2k pro
I am trying to install Backup and recover 11.5 advanced workstation onto a desktop running a clean install of win 2k Pro (SP4). as soon as the installer is launched I receive the following error "The Procedure entry point ClusterNodeGetEnumCount could not be located in the dynamic link library CLUSAPI.DLL"
I have also tested this on a user desktop and a virtual machine, all give the same error. v 11 installed fine.
looking at msdn this function is only available on the server environment?.
I have emailed support but so far have had no response
Thanks Paul

Hi,
I have the exact same problem; which is not nice since I explicitly checked if W2K is still supported (unfortunately we have a poor single machine running w2k still).
The Service Pack is the same as mentioned above, SP4.
Is there an update on this, please?

well, yesterday I tried to install it, with the latestly downloaded 1.6 GB file.
How can I determine the Build this file is of?
thanks!

Haha LOL maybe it's the number provided with the filename: ABR11.5A_32256_de-DE.exe ;-)
OK, so since 32256 is greater than 32208 I assume the Bug still isn't fixed, or came back.
Thanks for help.

The last build of 11.5 according to http://www.acronis.com/support/updates/ is 32308, so your download is not the latest. You can check installer file version it its properties too, even if it was renamed.

Awesome, thanks; I wasn't aware of that updates download page.
I even realized now there's a web installer which makes it quite nice for client machine agent installation only.
Thanks a lot and consider this solved for me :)
