Cannot assign license to server

Thread needs solution

Hi

After upgrading to acronis backup advanced 11.5, we cannot update the license number for one server.

We have total 6 servers and 6 licenses, 5 of them could update the code successfully but not the sixth one.

When we use the change license option for the server wnlb02, it will update with the same code used by server wnlb01 before. If I change the code for wnlb01 again, then it replace the wnlb02 code.

We don't have any problem before the upgrade, please help how to solve it.

Hi Chris,
please remove the license in question from the license server, connect to relevant agent and assign license from there.

Sorry, it didn't work.
I think it is because the two servers are using the same MAC address (NLB virtual IP).

Hi Chris,

in case you have to identical MAC addresses, the scenario shouldn't work, because we link licenses exactly to MAC addresses.
