Hi,

According to the log file you're using "[Fixed volumes]" inclusion type - it may not work if you're applying a backup plan to machine which is not processed as VM or does not have Agent for Windows installed inside it. Please provide a screen shot showing the type of machine you're applying the failed backup plan to (from Devices list - the Type column icon is the most important one). This error may be produced if you for example apply the backup plan to a machine which has Agent for VMware (Windows) installed inside it, while it does not have Agent for Windows running and thus backup of this machine is not possible.

Thank you.

This plan was working previously without me making any changes to it.

It is a VM, all servers being backed up using Acronis here are VMs. Here are the details of the VM server having the issues:

Installed agents: Agent for Linux (64-bit) (12.0.3689)

Operating system: Linux: Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS

CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v3 @ 2.40GHz

RAM: 15.7 GB

Thanks for your help

Hi Dave,

I'm afraid that without the diagnostic info and checking throught the full log it's hardly possible to properly analyze the issue. We need to understand how exactly the plan was configured, which/how many machines it was applied to and the full log from the operation - the full logs can be captured from Devices->select the machine which failed the backup->switch to Activities tab->Collect system information (Please see https://kb.acronis.com/content/58301). With these details it would make sense to contact our support team for further assistance.

Thank you.
