ABR10 recovery and other errors
Hi,
since ABR10 is, due to all these errors, not working correctly I thinking of using True Image Echo Server for Linux.
It's a shame how Acronis treats their customers. And I'm sorry to say, but the outsourced support is not worth a penny.
- the support need weeks to respond or doesn't even
- they never reads the cases and send the same useless doc's or links.
- the supporter changes a few times and for that the new supporter starts sending the same useless doc's or links because they never read the whole case.
- they seem to have no or almost no knowledge of the products
Now I don't want any insincere apologies from some Acronis Supporter.
What I want to know now is:
How long will Acronis release new builds with bugfixes for Acronis True Image Echo Server for Linux?
Thanks

Hello Martin T,
Thank you very much for posting and I am sorry for the delay. I will definitely assist you with this.
Acronis will no longer release new builds for True Image Echo, the latest build is 8398, please accept my apologies for the inconvenience.
If I understood correctly, when you try to recover from FTP, you get the above mentioned error message. Can you please tell me, have you tried moving the backup file to a different location? Does the recovery still fail? At the moment it is not clear why this is occurring.
I am afraid the issue with the Acronis Startup and Recovery manager needs further investigation. Would you be kind enough to submit a support request with a Linux System Report and provide me with the case number either here, or via PM. I will then escalate this issue to our Expert team.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.
