Scheduled backups stopped running - ABR 11
I have a custom schedule set up that runs a full backup on Saturday and incremental backups Monday-Friday each week. Everything has been working good. For the past two days however, my incremental backup has not attempted to run like the schedule has become corrupt. If I examine the backup plan, the custom schedule is correct.
I have done the following to try and fix.
1) Reboot
2) Edit and re-save the backup plan(I have not removed and created a new backup plan)
Also, if I right-click on the backup plan and hover over run, the run full backup and the run incremental backup options are no longer there.
This is Windows Server 2003 Enterprise w/sp2

When I re-create the backup task can I point it to the same catalog to use or do I need to remove existing catalog info also?

You can reuse existing catalog. BTW, before removing the backup plans you may want to export them and import them back after configuring your anti-virus (if this is exactly the case). In this case it will automatically reuse your previous settings so you will not be forced to input them again.
