Does TRue image 2021 cloning Tool works to move my on-going system disk (SSD) to a new Mother Board and an NvME system r board o
Hi
I want move my System disk ( a standard 500 Gig sata SSD) from an old Mother Board to a newer Mother Noard supportin NvME disks (Z690 Intel chipset) .
I do not want to install Windows but move the existing System and applications using cloning or may be restauration.
Is there any technical impossibility to move from an SSD to nVME ?
Many Thanks for help.

Thank you Steeve.
I understand that the Save and Restore prodedure is the cleanest but If i understand correctly the "save and restore" works only for moving the Windows O.S. Am i Right or i missed something ?
My main concern is to move all my "System" : not only Windows but my professional software as they are installed with their settings, swap places, licences numbers, screen calibration, links etc etc. This is the most complex and long work for moving a complete system to a new HW.
Is save and restore capable to transfer everithing as installed on the original disk ?
Thanks in advance.
(My concern is not for moving data : my huge amount of pure data are located on separate data disks or server)

Save and Restore moves all data on the source disk, so the OS, applications, etc.
Please see KB 19296: Acronis products cannot be used to transfer applications to different system or upgrade OS which confirms this.
