Dell Perc H755 drivers for Linux Acronis booteable media
Hello Acronis friends, I'm new at forum and need a little help.
We are using Acronis True image Home (ATIH) with Dell PERC controllers since year 2011. We used 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2018 versions. Never got an issue. Sometimes, when appears a new RAID controller, we had to update ATIH version in order to include the new drivers to work with new hardware.
Now, our ATIH 2018 is lack of drivers for Dell PERC H745 (Avago) and H755 (Broadcom). We already tested an Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office (ACPHO) trial and has the drivers for H745, but not for H755. :-(
At the other hand, we tested Acronis Cyber Protect too, but is impossible to see any of both controllers.
. Is there any way to add drivers to Acronis booteable media?
. It will be a new release of ACPHO capable to build a booteable media with additional drivers?
We tested other live clone solution based on linux too and has drivers for both RAID controllers. Our intention is to go forward with Acronis, as always worked.
Thanks in advance.-

Just to confirm, the Linux based Acronis bootable rescue media has no provision for injecting or adding any additional device drivers.
The Linux media tends to be updated with each new version of Acronis software and this in turn seeing some older device support being dropped and new support being added but there is no published information from Acronis about this!
If the Dell PERC controllers are installed in Windows PC's then as Ian has mentioned above, you need to use the Windows PE version of the rescue media which does have options for adding in new device drivers. If you use the 'Simple' method of creating WinPE media from within Windows on a PC with the Dell PERC controllers, then it should pick up device drivers from the Windows Recovery Environment of that PC.
