vss_requestor.exe failing with BitDefender
Looking for support: Seems Acronis is not playing well with BitDefender. New Windows 11 build. Not able to run first backup.
(please do not suggest removing BitDefender)
thanks :)

Did you post THIS as well?
I am with Ian, if you want to run BitDefender than turn off Acronis protection.

Thanks for suggestion.
I already have Acronis protection turned off.
Experiments found turning off BitDefender 'Advanced Threat Detection' let backup complete.
Symptom: backup seems to work, runs & completes backup, fails and starts over, runs backup to end again, fails.
Is there another part of Acronis protection to turn off?

I would recommend raising this issue directly with Acronis as the issue here is most likely a conflict between the different versions of BitDefender being used. ACPHO also is using BitDefender under the covers to provide the Acronis Cyber Protect features, and whilst you can 'turn off protection permanently!' per your screen image settings, it does not stop all the related background Windows Services from still remaining in 'running' state and being active occasionally!

Indeed Steve, I see now at least two services running security even though it's supposedly turned off.
Fascinating Acronis keep forcing their protection schemes on us no matter how much we try to turn it off.
