bootable media cannot see harddisk of Dell optiplex 390

So I'm going to throw my hat into the ring with this.
I'm having the same issue, when I load up the Master Image Creater from PXE boot, I'm getting the same message on our new Opti390's. We've had no issues with other newer Dell machines (Opti790, 990, 980).
Anton, would you be able to send me the newest build (3504 I'm assuming)
Thanks;

Hi all,
My company is currently testing with Optiplex 380s, which SD build 3501 has worked flawlessly for. However, it has come to my attention that the 380's have been discontinued and we will have to get the 390s for our total order. I stumbled upon this thread, and have 3 days left on my trial. We plan on purchasing 60 licenses for Snap Deploy, however, this issue obviously has to be resolved before then. Moderators, can we get an update of when this issue will be resolved? Will I be able to renew my trial when my shipment of 390's arrives to be sure?
I've played around with Windows Deployment Services and it is too cumbersome and unreliable. Sysprep has corrupted several images for me in my lab. Snap Deploy, on the other hand, has been fantastic, reliable, and easy. I hope to see this issue addressed ASAP, otherwise it is useless to me, and I will have to scramble to find another imaging solution in the coming week or so.
Also, for you other users who may be reading this, any chance of 380 images working with the 390s? I'm a bit frustrated that I'll probably have to create a new master image after already prepping one for the Optiplex 380.
Thank you for your time.

I now have Snap Deploy 4 Beta 2 (https://www.acronis.com/my/beta/asd4/index.html) running with OptiPlex 390 machines. I have put an Intel PCIe NIC in every machine, because the onboard Realtek NIC is not supported (yet?). This is now running fine, although there are still a few bugs in the Snap Deploy Management Console which you may encounter when creating deployment tasks.
And there are network connectivity issues if the PXE Server is running, so I have had to separate or network of training PCs from the rest of the network.
I also received build 3508 of Snap Deploy 3 today, but I cannot test this version until sometime next week.

Build 3502 resolves the issues with NIC and HDD, however! I only use this build for our 64bit 390's. I use Microsoft AIK for 32bit systems, it's just my preference.

Hello I am having the same problem several newer optiplex and latitude models. Could you please send me the newest build as well.

With the latest ASD4 Beta the Harddisk will be found, but no MasterImageCreation over network or Deploying over network.
We need the implemantation of these network drivers!

I just ordered 20 Dell 390 small form factor pc's and 20 snap deploy licenses.
The snap deploy boot cd does not recognize any installed hard drives or network adapters due to missing drivers!!
Can someone from Acronis please help me obtain a special build or workaround for a bootable CD that works with the Dell 390 Small Form Factor's hard drive controller and NIC so I can use this software as designed?
Thank you.

Hello all,
Thank you for your comments.
I am sorry for any inconvenience. I will send everyone our latest custom build and if you are still having issues, please collect the following information and contact our Support team so that we can get these hardware problems resolved:
1. Windows system information file if that machine has Windows on it.
2. Acronis Linux report from the bootable media.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.

I've tested a few weeks ago this build 3502 and it never recognizes the harddisks from the Dell OptiPlex 390.
Only ASD4 Beta recognize it but here i'm missing the option to store the master image on our deploy server. Here you can only save the image on an external HDD and this is no option for us.

Hi Anton,
I have the same problem (trying to boot Acronis True Image Home 2010 from USB disk & CD on Optiplex 390 with no luck). Should the latest build (#7160) solve the problem or is there some other way to doit?

3508 is the build I was given, but it was rubbish, it killed deployment time for me. Still no fix.
ASD 4 doesn't work either for the 390's it lacks network drivers.

I'm having the same problem with Snap Deploy recognizing the NIC and HD in our Dell Optiplex 390's. I thought that contacting tech support directly would be the way to go but apparently replying to this forum post is the preferred method for getting the updated build.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Do you have solution for this ?

Hello Tum,
Thank you for posting. I will do my best to help you.
We do not have a solution for this at the moment. I would recommend MudCrab's workaround and if you could contact our Support team with this report collected from the bootable media, this will allow us to fix the issue.
Please let me know if you need additional help.
Thank you.

We are experiencing the same issue with build 3501 of the Snap Deploy Master Image Creator not recognizing the hard drive. How may we get a newer build of the software?

I am having the same problem, with the NIC drivers, can you please send me the link to the version that works. Also why hasn't the driver issue with Optiplex 390 been resolved?

Hello Heritate Group and Eric,
Thank you for your comments. I will do my best to help you.
To workaround this issue I would recommend using WinPe bootable media, please check the following detailed guide for instructions.
Eric, I could not find any registered Acronis Snap Deploy products registered under your Acronis web-account. Just in case, if you have a valid support program with us you can upgrade to Acronis Snap Deploy 4 for free.
Looking forward to your replies and if you have additional questions please let me know.
Thank you.

Same Issues with the Optiplex 390, no drives and no NIC. Upgrading to ASD4 is not an option for us ATM. Could i please have a ASD3 build that will work with these machines. I am currently running 3501.

I am also having the same issue - Dell optiplex 390 not seeing the HDD. I have 2 requests....
1. I would like the update others have gotten that has worked for them
2.Does the new version of Acronis fix this? If so I will definitely consider purchasing the new version; otherwise the fix will work until then.

Anton ~What is needed in order to get this new version that is going around (currently we are using: Acronis Snap Deploy Management Console build 3501)?
Background: In order to correctly image / re-image our Dell OptiPlex 380's we had to use PCI Intel NIC's; we would continue to do the same however the hardware in the 390's has changed to PCI eXpress as well SATA (no AHCI support).
The good news is that loading NIC w/PXE support is NOW working on our Acronis Box however we are getting the dreadful error: "E000101F4: Acronis Master Image Creator has not found hard disk drives."
I am hoping that this 350x version that seems to work for some (and yet not others) can resolve our issue, as we just finished stocking over 20x machines in our inventory and I would hate to tell the CTO that we will need to build these out manually.

Follow-Up / CONFIRMED:
Anton, the build you sent me [3510] is working perfectly (thank you, again).
The HD on my OptiPlex 390 is being recognized by the Snap Deploy (v3) Server, and I am able to both (create an) image and re-image (on a 10/100 network, the time was fairly quickly anywhere between 8 - 15 minutes on upload and download) back down to the hosts / machine.
