Build 5576 installed, program will not open
I just finished installing the 5576 patch build, and now I can't get the UI to open.
It opened once, to get me to agree to the license, but the UI was unresponsive. I closed it, thinking to open it again, but it won't.
I get the UAC prompt, but then nothing seems to happen.
Task Manager shows the following background processes:
- Acronis Scheduler 2
- Acronis Scheduler Helper (32 bit)
- Acronis TIB Mounter Monitor (32 bit)
- 3 instances of Acronis True Image Home (32 bit)
- Acronis True Image Monitor (32 bit)
- Acronis True Image Notify (32 bit)
- Acronis True Image Service (32 bit)
None of them seem to be using any CPU.
In addition to trying to run the UI, I also right-clicked on the hidden icon and selected "Status". The same thing (UAC then nothing) happened.
I'm using Windows 10 64-bit.
Acronis System Report did run, but it is too big to attach to this post.
I am going to try to kill the Acronis processes, and I'll post back if that fixes the problem.
